A Walk up the Hill

This post is a little out of order, chronologically, but I wanted to get something out. I almost have the pictures ready of some previous activities, but they will come later.

We are really loving the elders we have, as usual. Each missionary is a little different. Of course, having an elder who is German is new, as well. This week, we have had a few unexpected ups and downs, some fairly heartbreaking, but fortunately, all has come out good so far, much thanks to our good elders and their patient love. We also appreciate a great young couple in our branch for their thoughtful support in the matter. I will leave it with that said. Things look much better now than it did earlier this week.

We have done some visiting in nearby cities and had some nice visits, but this post is about our beautiful hill behind our home here in Ravensburg. It is mainly just a visual report of my walk yesterday afternoon at about sunset. The hill behind our home is not large. It takes about a ten minute walk to get to the top from our front door.

Here are the pictures.

This is where I expect the Ravensburg temple to be built. (I can dream, can't I?)

This is on the way back down our side of the hill. You can see our apartment balcony roughly in the center of the picture.

You have heard of chocolate frogs? we have chocolate slugs.
